Open Studio – studio idakumori
Are you looking for a membership in a cozy, small ceramic studio with a big variety of material? Then you are at the right place.
With only a few members, you’ll find a calm and welcoming atmosphere that allows you to fully focus on your creative projects.
The studio is located in Alstetten, just a 3-minute walk from the tram and the S-Bahn.
Calm and cozy, funtional space
Lilly shares her studio as an open workspace with a maximum of 10 members, so there is plenty of space for you to work at your own pace. You can sign up for one of the two pottery wheels either spontaneously or in advance and enjoy working in a quiet environment.
There are a maximum of 3 people in the studio at the same time (two wheelspots, one glazing/handbuilding spot).
Variety of materials
You can choose from different types of clay and porcelain for wheel-throwing and handbuilding. A wide selection of glazes allows you full creative expression.
Warm studio athmosphere
The studio offers a cozy atmosphere that invites you to work in a relaxed and focused way. If you need a break, you can make yourself a cup of tea and sit on the terrace, watch the sunset and recharge.
Member discount
If you have not taken a pottery course before, you can join my intensive course. Afterwards you will be ready to start your membership!
When booking a membership, you receive a 10% discount on all courses.
Clay: CHF 25/kg weighed before throwing, incl. firing and glaze
Porcelain and special clays: CHF 30/kg
Clay/Porcelain that is not fired does not need to be paid for, of course.

Spontaneously or in advance via the Google Calendar.
If you’re interested, feel free to send me an e-mail to lilly@idakumori.com to arrange a time to get to know the studio! You can also book a trial month for CHF 150 (two 3-hour sessions + one 3-hour glazing session after firing).
