Potterycourse basics

This course is designed for anyone who wants to dive a little deeper into wheel throwing or learn something new and specific. If you are struggling with certain techniques or, for example, would like to learn to throw larger bowls, I am happy to guide you and teach you the skills you need.

In the first session (3 hours), we will focus on throwing; in the second session (3 hours), you will trim your pieces. After the bisque firing, you can either take your pieces home to glaze them yourself, or have them glazed in a color of your choice for an additional CHF 30 per kg. They will be ready for pickup the following month.

The course is ideal for curious beginners as well as more experienced potters who want to refine their technique or need support with a new project. I also offer guidance on design questions, functional considerations, and the choice of clay and glaze.

The price is for one person and includes two sessions of three hours each, as well as the bisque firing.

Duration: 6 hours total, split into 2 sessions of 3 hours each (weekdays 9–12am or 18–21pm, or weekends)
